So…the dollhouse has spent some time on the picnic table recently getting a little makeover! I have had lots of help from little hands…which has gone surprisingly well! She is a great little helper. And I really believe that the dollhouse will mean even more to her if she is a part of creating it…or “recreating” it in this case! She is also becoming quite confident that even little people can do. And that is more important to me than any dollhouse…and I really like dollhouses!!!
We have sanded…
We have swept…. We have washed…
We primed every single surface…
And we are on our way to having a simply wonderful dollhouse!!!

Wow, this is a great project, and how cool that she can create this with you. I can only imagine how proud she will be in the end
Oh my, that is such a sweet dollhouse! My father in law made my girls one last year for Christmas and I've been meaning to work on painting it with them. You've inspired me...think I'll add it to my list to do soon.

Oh i have a thing for dolls houses. We have 3 in the house and one in the garage. I have 4 girls so i have a good excuse to collect them. This one is so adorable. And what great work the little on is doing.
That is really utterly cool. I have a deep appetite for dollhouses but so far my two boys haven't been much into them... I am hoping my baby daughter will share my interest.
I made these simple ones in a camp I taught and they were a big hit!
