Seedlings

Planting is metaphoric.  Little seeds are carefully sown beneath the soil, given sun and water, and then, for quite some time left alone to grow and mature in miraculous ways still unseen by the world.  Then, with no warning, and with no fanfare, a little bit of green emerges, and new life enters the world.  New life destined to bring us something delicious!!!  I love planting! 
The littles love to plant with me and are eager to be a part of each step, which sometimes leads to a few surprises when seedlings emerge!!!
