Did you see the big snow storm that was all over the news forecasted to hit the Northeast pretty hard, and slam the Boston area? Well it hit. And we got slammed! Most schools around here scheduled a snow day before it even started snowing. While school snow days don’t affect us, Dad had a snow day from work, which changes the rhythm of our day in a beautiful way. Personally I love a day of heavy snow. The house is so cozy and oh so bright. All that snow, white and magnificent in the air and on the ground and in the sky fills our home with such light. I love it. There is a lot going on here today. All sorts of cozy indoor goodness. We’ve been munching on warm tortillas spread with cinnamon honey butter, (yum!!!), Dad is “doing school” with the littles, and I am working away on a project I am so excited to share with you. Oh yes, it is going to a delicious stuck inside sort of day. (Inside…except of course the hours we’ll have to spend digging ourselves out of this mountain of snow!)
Oh yes…that shed…the one blocked by 2 feet of drifted snow…yup, that’s where the shovels are…and the snow blower…yikes! Yes, we are very happy to have Daddy home!
