There are many things I have learned since becoming a mother. There are even more things that I have “unlearned”. And we won’t even talk about all that I still have to learn!!
One thing that I have learned…and don’t question…and often rely on…is the magic of sand and water. There is no other way to describe it. It’s magic.
Water. At the beach…in the pool…in a bucket…in the bathtub…in a creek…in a puddle…magic.
Sand. At the playground…at the beach…in the sandbox…at a construction site…in a bucket…by the river…magic.
Somehow it re-centers and calms a frantic day…brings extra joy and endless fun on going-just-fine days…and can somehow, magically, completely restore “one-of-those” days!!!
We’ve been catching all the outdoor sand and water we can before our bucket and bathtub winter sand and water days begin!
